A meeting of Akhil Bhartiya Sant Samiti was held at New Delhi Municipal Committe (NDMC) convention centre New Delhi in which heads of different religious organisations and Akharas took part and discussed various issues prevailing in Sanatan Dharma regarding wrong ways of showcasing Hindus deities in public places and other platforms and increase in atrocities on hindu saints from time to time
While speaking on the occasion, His Holiness Shri Shri 1008 Atal Pethadishwar Rajguru Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Shri Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati ji Maharaj said that recent gruesome remarks on the face of Hanumanji was shown in a film wouldn't be acceptable because such manifestations are not limited to fun and enjoyment because the reverence, belief and power in devotees towards Lord Hanuman are weaken slowly with such kind of exhibitions.
Swamiji further said that it's a direct attack on Sanatan Dharma and present a bad image in our younger generation."Such kind of actions should be dealt strictly in future and if someone found doing so, he should be put behind bars."Such activities directly effect and hurt the sentiments of scores of Hindus and weak our society in large", added Shri Swamiji
The other saints who were present and spoke on the occasion were H H Acharya Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishokanand Bharti ji Maharaj, Pithadhishwar, Mahanirvani Akhara, Pethadishwar, Anand Akhara, Shankaracharya Shri Ramanandacharaya, Mahant Ravindra Puriji, President, Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, Mahamandleshwars and saints from across the country gave their participation.At the end of meeting, Swami ji put forth suggestion in front of samiti to form an organisation which would look after such kind of sensitive issues and if someone found guilty in hurting the sentiments of Sanatan Dharma then strict action would be taken against the culprits immediately with the help of law and judiciary.
